As of October 2010 EPA continues to support the City of Chesapeake and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. The EPA OSC is coordinating additional sampling of surface waters, sediments, and two drinking water wells in teh neighborhood as supplemental sampling. Allied Terminals continues to monitor site conditions and remediate under an order with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Allied deals directly with property damages and claims through its insurance claims process.
