EPA has conducted multiple removal assessments/actions related to the Commonwealth Utilities Commission (CUC) Power Plant located in Saipan, CNMI ("the Site"). CNMI is a territory of the United States. On March 11, 2009 CUC entered into a Judicial Stipulated Order requiring that CUC take certain measures to eliminate oil spills, inspect storage facilities, provide containment, prepare operating plans and remove oil at its power plant facilities.

EPA has agred to conduct this removal action at the CUC Isley Field facility. The removal action addresses drums containing PCB-contaminated oil and soil.
