On August 26 and 27, 2025, the EPA remedial program conducted its annual sampling event at ten residential properties where drinking water may be impacted by acid mine drainage from the Callahan Mine Site. Samples were analyzed for total and dissolved metals, anions and cations, and per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS).
