On May 16, 2013 EPA 6 was notified by the TCEQ of a reported 20,000 gallon biodiesel spill into Berry Creek from the City-Farm Energy facility located at 2439 Albright, Houston, Harris County, TX. The spill was discovered at approximately 2200 hours on May 15, 2013 by the Houston Police Department. Upon notification by Houston PD, the RP refused to take financial responsibility for the spill and Houston PD Major Crimes Unit elected to initiated clean-up of the spill through their contracting mechanism.
