This site was a spill of diesel fuel from an underground 3" feeder line which led from a 500,000 gallon above-ground storage tank to a smaller emergency generator day tank. It was originally estimated that approximately 2000 gallons of fuel was released. Some of the fuel leaked into a storm sewer and then directly into the Black River.
