The Site is an inactive wood treatment facility and former sawmill. The clean-up focused on parts of the property that contain unused and abandoned wood treatment structures.

Removal operations started on May 9th, demolishing foundations and preparing for excavation. Approximately 6,500 cubic yards of contaminated soil was excavated. The soil was then amended with sawdust and nutrients. Finally, the soil was spread into a treatment cell within the Area of Contamination. Crews demobilized for the rest of the summer on July 1st, 2016.

Active treatment via land-farming started in fall of 2016. Fall treatment saw approximately an 80% reduction in average cell contamination, and was suspended in mid-November due to winter temperatures. Treatment resumed over the spring and summer of 2017, resulting in approximately 95% reduction of PCP concentrations.

Final regrading and reseeding of the treatment cell area was done in Spring of 2018.
