On October 20, 2017, Marathon Pipe Line Company reported a gasoline spill from a 12 inch pipeline. The spill area was immediately secured. Marathon Pipe Line mobilized Oil Spill Response Organization (OSRO) and coordinated with local fire department.

U.S. EPA Region 5 (EPA) mobilized On-Scene Coordinator (OSC) and Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) to the spill location. More information will be provided under respective Notices and Pollution Reports (POLREP) as information becomes available.
