The National Response Center (NRC) notified EPA of a train derailment near Houston, Texas, NRC#1234352. The derailment occurred in a residential neighborhood and the train consisted of a number of hazardous cars including Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), Ethylene Oxide and Tetrachloroethylene.  An EPA team was mobilized to assess site conditions, conduct air monitoring in the nearby neighborhood and provide assistance as needed.
