The Goodall Mills 2 site (the site) is located at 25 High Street in Sanford, York County, Maine (ME). The site consists of an approximately 2 acre parcel of undeveloped wetland and forestland on the shore of the Mousam River. In April 2016, Maine DEP personnel and the OSC visited the site and uncovered soil in the flood zone that contained free-product oil (see photo). This site is located hydrologically downgradient of the Goodall Mills Site, where a removal action was conducted in 2009 to remove from product oil from the subsurface and to line the storm water pipes to prevent oil from discharging into the Mousam River.
