The Old Salisbury Road Wells Site is an area that has 3 wells with tetrachloroethylene (PCE) contamination, 2 are used for drinking, 1 is used for irrigation and washing cars. PCE has been detected in the wells beginning in 1990 and as recently as 2005. The source of the contamination is unknown. Concentrations range from 3.6 ppb to 11 ppb. There is no public water supply available to the property. The closest municipal water line is approximately 3/4 miles north of the site.
