A fire at Pool Town Company located at 7875 Telegraph Road in Taylor, Michigan was reported in the early morning hours on Thursday, March 28, 2013. Pool Town was a retail distributor of pool chemicals, pools, and spas.

Downriver Emergency Response Team (DERT) was called in to aid the Taylor Fire Department with the reponse because of the chlorine and other chemicals insde of the store. U.S. EPA provided technical assitance to DERT, aw well as helped to evaluate water run-off from the facility.
