On 01/22/08, OSC Ullock was contacted to assess an abandoned electroplating facility at the request of the City of Mobile, AL. Upon assessment, OSC Ullock found abandoned drums, totes and vats containing hazardous chemicals. The facility is abandoned and in disrepair. There is also evidence of trespassing and vagrants using the Site. OSC immediately intiated an Emergency Response Removal Action and has requested ERRS and START assistance to characterize the waste streams and secure the surrounding area.
