This is a former electroplating operation. ADEM referred the site to EPA in March 2010 for consideration as a possible time-critical removal action.

During the site evaluation EPA conducted an emergency response at the facility to stabilize highly corrosive and caustic liquids throughout the facility. In addition to these activities, EPA also secured the building to prevent trespassing.

EPA plans to conduct a time-critical removal action at the facility in the near future.
