On the afternoon of September 25, 2008, East Middle School in Ypsilanti, MI was evacuated after several teachers and students reported nauseau, headaches and dizziness. The Ypsilanti Fire Department and the Washtenaw County HazMat Teams initially responded to the situation at the school. EPA was requested to provide additional air monitoring and sampling assistance.
