FedEx discovered free mercury in a tractor trailer and reported the release to the NRC. EPA responded to help coordinate the removal actions. Mercury was also found on the off-loading ramp and inside a delivery truck that services a mercury recyling center. Packages inside a delivery truck were screened and two had elevated levels. Employees who worked with the vehicles were also screened, as well as their personal belongings.
