The Fred Boling Oil Wells Site is located along Bates Hollow Road in Reynolds Station, Hancock Co, Kentucky approximately five miles north of Fordsville. This abandoned oil well lease sits on a 81 acre tract of farm land.

On Tuesday, November 5th, 2013, EPA, Kentucky Oil and Gas and USCG representatives met with the property owner to inspect areas of crude oil coming to land surface at several abandoned well locations. The OSC submitted an OPA Work Plan to the National Pollution Fund Center in mid November and funding was approved to address/mitigate crude oil from reaching creeks on the farm property and to plug abandoned wells leaking at land surface.
