Fire broken out at a facility in Midlothian, Texas called Gerdau Ameristeel. Approximately 3 acres of cars are on fire. The fire is contained, no injuries reported but due to low water availability the FD has advised that it will continue to burn for an undetermined amount of time.

TCEQ/Local Fire Department have requested that EPA conduct air monitoring activities. ASPECT has been tasked and is conducting overflights.
