A cement company reported illegal dumping of paint waste on their property from a neighboring resident to the National Response Center. The incident was also reported to local police and fire departments. The Illinois EPA and LaSalle County EMA requested U.S. EPA assistance in investigating the illegal dumpsite. The incident was referred to Illinois EPA, which will assume control of the investigation and oversee cleanup.
