On June 2, 2017, inspectors for the MDEQ visited the site and found 22 drums and other containers of waste in the back parking lot. On June 5, MDEQ re-inspected the site and found the drums were gone. During the inspection, a trailer of misc. debris was discovered discharging oil into a storm drain. The Macomb Township Fire Department responded and MDEQ requested EPA assistance.
