MDNR received a call from a private citizen regarding abandoned containers. The initial report stated the presence of approximately 10 to 12, 55-gallon poly drums on a private property off of Openview Lane in Mack's Creek, Camden County, MO. The abandoned containers were discovered after recent flash flooding. Markings or labels were not visible on drums. MDNR further investigated and referred site.

EPA opened the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund (OSTLF) to assess the containers and potentially dispose of the materials.
