Received a call from the NRC (#946531) regarding a ruptured pipeline near Quitman, TX. The Wood County Sherrif's Deputy on the scene said that approx. 1/2 acre of a nearby field was covered with oil and the owner had not yet been contacted and the release was ongoing. OSC McAteer and START have been dispatched to the scene to determine the extent of the release and the potential impact to a Lake Fork Creek tributary near the release area.
