OSC Adams and EPA START contractors were activated to a CERCLA response involving 100bbl release of monoethanolamine (concentrated to 15%) into an unnamed tributary of Rock Creek. The release occurred due to equipment failure from an amine circulation pump at the DCP Midstreams Rock Creek Gas Plant. The PRP reported that there is a brown tint to the water and evidence of a fish kill over a quarter mile long. Updates will be provided as new information is obtained.
