A leak in a 8 inch crude oil pipeline was discovered around 0815 hours on 11/14/2013. Soils surrounding the pipeline were excavated to allow a temporary patch to be placed to secure the leak point on the pipeline. Oil response operations prevented oil from reaching Deer creek located approx 150' from the spill site.
