Francis Street Public Meeting 7/15/2014 Site Update

 

A public meeting will be held on Thursday, July 17, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the “Community Room” located within Memorial Stadium in Waycross, GA



RSE and Special Reports Released 7/15/2014 Site Update

EPA has released a Removal Site Evaluation Report and Special Site Assessment Report for the Francis Street Assessment. Revised version of the Special Site Assessment Report includes list of responses to questions that was received regarding the sampling that EPA and GAEPD conducted in 2013 and 2014. This document will be posted to the documents section of www.epaosc.org/sevenout 



EPA sampling plan available 12/11/2013 Site Update

EPA has released the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for the December, 2013, sampling event of the Francis Street Assessment to evaluate potential releases from Seven Out Tank to the local surface water drainage pathway. This QAPP effectively serves as a short form Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP).

The document is available at the documents section of the http://www.epaosc.org/sevenout webpage.

Sampling will be conducted over a period of two days during the week of December 16, 2013.

 

 



Public Availability Session - November 14 11/7/2013 Site Update
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a Public Availability Session on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Waycross, Georgia. Representatives from EPA, Georgia Department of Environmental Protection (GADEP), and the Georgia Department of Public Health will be available to provide information and answer questions about upcoming sampling activities near the Seven Out Tank Site. 

The Public Availability Session will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Waycross City Hall Commission Chambers, 417 Pendleton Street, Waycross, Georgia.


Special Pollution Report Uploaded 9/30/2013 Site Update
A Special Pollution Report (POLREP) which documents EPA's additional review of the Seven Out Tank Site and recommended sampling activities has been posted to the documents section of this webpage.

Seven Out PRP Kickoff Meeting 8/7/2007
EPA has scheduled a meeting with Potential Responsible Parties regarding the Seven Out LLC Site of Waycross, GA. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL.
