The 2011 Emergency Preparedness and HazMat Response Conference is in Pittsburgh this year!

 

 

The registration fee is $275 each, or $250 for three or more attending from the same organization. Attendees who register by September 30 will receive a $40 discount for a low registration fee of only $235. If three or more are attending from the same organization, the early bird rate is only $200 per registration. All multiple registration forms must be received simultaneously.

The 2011 SERC Conference will be held at Canaan Valley State Park on September 13-15, 2011.

September 21 "Mountain Host" AAR Conference 8/31/2011 Site Update
For those who participated in the "Mountain Host" Exercise:

The Mountain Host Exercise Planning Team invites you to attend and participate in the exercise After Action Report Conference and Regional Tactical Interoperable Communications Plan introduction,

7PM, Wednesday, September 21, at the Stonewall Resort.

 

Our Keynote speaker will be

WV Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety

Deputy Secretary Christine F. Morris.

 

All government officials are invited to learn more about how first responders and other private and public agencies performed during the recent mass migration practical exercise in WV Homeland Security Region 4.

 

Those who participated (actively or in reserve) at the August 17 exercise are asked to return and contribute what you learned, or comment on what you would like to change in our communications, sheltering, intelligence, and planning capabilities. The final After Action Report (AAR) will be produced based on the comments supplied at this conference. This AAR can be used by all agencies requiring an HSEEP compliant functional exercise in 2011, for state and federal grant funding.

 

Also at this conference, we will present an introduction into the new Region 4 Tactical Interoperable Communications Plan (TICP) for your consideration and comments. Plus other regional Homeland Security items as time permits.
