This is the flowmeter that was used to accurately measure crude oil as it was off-loaded from a vacuum truck at Flow Station 1 for recycling. This truck contained the oil recovered directly from the leaking pipeline earlier in the incident.
Date Taken: 8/11/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:
Anomaly Site 1 on the FS2 transit line. Pipeline insulation was removed and a patch was installed (upper center). Location is awaiting clamp installation. FS1 facility is in the background. A folding tank underneath the pipeline and containment boom in the pond have been deployed as a precaution.
Date Taken: 8/10/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:

Southern, central, and western portion of the contaminated tundra area. The FS2 transit line is the pipeline visible in the lower left corner. A response worker is using a vacuum truck hose for direct-section recovery of oil from the tundra, and several rope mop skimmers are also in use.
Date Taken: 8/10/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:
One of the 16 significant anomaly locations along the FS2 transit line. The anomaly site has been patched and folding tanks have been placed underneath as a precaution. Note the wet tundra conditions.
Date Taken: 8/10/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:
Anomaly Site 4. Pipeline insulation has been removed and the anomaly location patched. Clamp installation will occur next. A folding tank is underneath the pipeline as a precaution.
Date Taken: 8/10/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:

Two "spicer" tanks used for holding the oil and water resulting from contaminated tundra oil recovery efforts. These tanks are staged at the FS2 facility. Oil and water is allowed to separate and is then removed fro recycling or disposal.
Date Taken: 8/10/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:
Plidco bolt-on clamp being installed on the leak site (Site 3). The upper half of the clamp is in place; the lower half is on the ground underneath the pipeline and will be lifted up into place.
Date Taken: 8/10/2006
Category:
Latitude:
Longitude:
Tags:
