Floor drain in breezeway is completely empty. Sand Bags staged infront of gate to breezeway Facility secured against trespassers Contractor secures entrances to building. This is breezeway entrance on Romaine Street Easement on Romaine Street after contractor removed top 4-6 inches of soil. Security fencing on Orange and Romaine to prevent public access to storage tanks. Large Stoirage tanks staged on Romaine Street. Tanks contain chemicals and fire suppression fluids collected from street and building. Fire Damage to Plating facility Material being collected from floor drain inside breezeway of plating facility. Material will be pumped into large (4300 gal) baker tanks. Totes containing cyanide liquids that were pumped from vats inside plating facility. There are 7 totes total. Stained concrete/sidewalk on west side of building (N. Sycamore Ave.) Clean up contractor removes soil from easment along easr side of building (Romaine) Roll-off bins filled with contaminated soil used to build berms to capture run-off. Area on east side of builing where material is leaking out of builing and on to street (Romaine) Fire damage to east side of building (Romaine). Fire damage to plating facility on east side of building (Romaine). Fire Damage to plating facility. West sid eof building. Cracks in concrete will undoubtedly allow for chemicals to infiltrate subsurface. Anothr view of material leaking from building and draining to sidewalk on east side of building (Romaine) Side walk and gutter on east side of facility (Romaine). Material is leaking from floor drain inside of buillding Side walk on North side of plating facility ( N. Sycamore Ave.). Staining from chemicals is obvious. Contractor attempts to collect free standing liquid within the the facility untouched by fire. This is northern entrance. Staining of concrete is obvious. West Side of plating Facility following fire.
