Current Activities
March 1 through 7, 2004:  ERRS subcontractor (1) ERRS subcontractor  conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps. .   A total of 135 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

March 8 through 14, 2004:  ERRS Subcontractor (1)  ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps. .  A total of 141 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

March 15 through 21, 2004:  ERRS Subcontractor (1)  ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 148 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

March 22 through 28, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 149 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

March 29 through 31, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities.  A total of 151 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.



Planned Removal Actions
-Continue operation of the treatment system for another 6 month period and re-evaluate.  This will complete a full year of product recovery over a full season of groundwater fluctuations.

Next Steps
-Transportation and Disposal of recovered product as needed.
-EPA will re-evaluate the need to operate the system after 6-months.


Key Issues
IDEQ purchased treatment system and will provide collection services under an amended pollution removal funding authorization (PRFA).  Funding budgets have changed to incorporate increase in PRFA funding.  PRFA-IDEQ budget increased from $8,000 to $20,000 (increase of $12,000).  EPA budget decreased from $42,000 to $30,000 (decrease of $12,000)
