Current Activities
April 1 through 4, 2004:  ERRS subcontractor (1) ERRS subcontractor  conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.   A total of 151 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

April 5 through 11, 2004:  ERRS Subcontractor (1)  ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 152 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

April 12 through 18, 2004:  ERRS Subcontractor (1)  ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 152 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

April 19 through 25, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities, including cleaning the fuel extraction pumps.  A total of 153 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.

April 26 through 30, 2004:  ERRS Subcontracotr (1) ERRS Subcontractor conducted operations and maintenance activities.  A total of 153 gallons of material recovered to date in the 1,000 gallon tank.



Planned Removal Actions
-Continue operation of the treatment system for another 6 month period and re-evaluate.  This will complete a full year of product recovery over a full season of groundwater fluctuations.

Next Steps
-IDEQ to conduct groundwater level measurements.
-Transportation and Disposal of recovered product as needed.
-EPA will re-evaluate the need to operate the system after 6-months.


Key Issues
-Northern Idaho experiencing drought-like conditions - Spring 2004.
-IDEQ purchased treatment system and will provide collection services under an amended pollution removal funding authorization (PRFA).  Funding budgets have changed to incorporate increase in PRFA funding.  PRFA-IDEQ budget increased from $8,000 to $20,000 (increase of $12,000).  EPA budget decreased from $42,000 to $30,000 (decrease of $12,000)
