Current Activities
**** Sunday, February 27, 2005. (ERRS subcontractor DAL-1)  No work.

**** Monday, February 28, 2005. (ERRS subcontractor DAL-1) DAL measured product levels inside of the 1,000 gallon storage tank, collected totalizer readings from the groundwater treatment system, and collected oil and groundwater depth readings in all on- and off-site wells.  Amout of oil recovered since the groundwater pumps were installed - 340 gallons.  Total oil recovered for the site is 540 gallons.

**** Tuesday, March 1, 2005. (ERRS subcontractor DAL-1)  DAL measured product levels inside of the 1,000 gallon storage tank.  Amout of oil recovered since the groundwater pumps were installed - 397 gallons.  Total oil recovered for the site is 597 gallons.

**** Wednesday, March 2, 2005. (ERRS subcontractor DAL-1)  DAL measured product levels inside of the 1,000 gallon storage tank, collected totalizer readings from the groundwater treatment system, and collected oil and groundwater depth readings in all on- and off-site wells.  Amout of oil recovered since the groundwater pumps were installed - 455 gallons.  Total oil recovered for the site is 655 gallons. Water samples were collected and submitted to a commercial laboratory to check water quality parameters of the groundwater treatment system's effluent.

**** Thursday, March 10, 2005 (ERRS subcontractor DAL-1)DAL measured product levels inside of the 1,000 gallon storage tank, collected totalizer readings from the groundwater treatment system, and collected oil and groundwater depth readings in all on- and off-site wells.  Amout of oil recovered since the groundwater pumps were installed - 802 gallons.  Total oil recovered for the site is 1002 gallons.  ERRS subcontractor Emerald Petroleum pumped approximately 792 gallons of gasoline/diesel and transported it off site for recycling (approximately 60 gallons remained inside the tank).

Planned Removal Actions
- Monitor effluent levels and change out Carbon Units as appropriate.
- Pump out 1,000 gallon AST as needed.
- Operate groundwater depression and oil recovery systems.

Next Steps
***** Install overhead powerline.
***** Transfer treatment system power connection from Texaco Sign to new overhead powerline.
***** Continue to collect water quality samples of the effluent.
***** Continue operation and maintenance plan for the product and groundwater systems.
***** Replace Carbon Units per water quality sample results.

EPA will operate these systems for another 6 months and then re-evaluate.

Key Issues
The power company was not able to install overhead powerline.  EPA used the power from the Texaco sign as an interim measure until the line is run.

B&D Texaco reported that they did not receive insurance coverage through the Petroleum Storage Tank Fund and will be filing for bankrupcy.
