On 11/29/2006, command for this incident was formally transfered to EPA from the Danvers Fire Chief. This concluded the formal site investigation by the State Fire Marshall's Office, the Mass. State Police, and the ATF. ----------------------------------------------

The Mobile command post (MCP) was moved to the east side of Water Street.
Chemical specific air sample collection was completed using sorbent tubes and iar pumps. Samples were sent to a commercial lab for analysis; results are expected next week.
Additional summa canisters were collected from the perimeter and sent to the EPA Regional Lab for analysis.
The Chemical Safety Board entered the site to collect photodocumentation on videotape.
The Pizza Factory of Danvers/ Danversport Bakery building (PF/DB) owner signed permission for EPA demolition of the building.
EPA received a second health consult on air samples.

OSC Nalipinski met with impacted residents and commercial property owners regarding demolition issues.
The roof and second floor of the PF/DB building (114 and 116 Water Street) was demolished dude to expected high wind conditions.
The buildings on 120 and 122 Water Street were demolished today, with written permission from the owner.
Water Street is expected to be re-opened tonight.

CAI AND Arnell insurance adjusters and investigators will be given the opportunity to tour the property tomorrow, if they have OSHA training and safety equipment as required by the HASP. OSHA and CSB will also be on site.
ERRS will continue to monitor and collect surface water runoff as necessary.
START and EPA will collect summa canisters on the site perimeter and the adjacent neighborhoods; samples will be delivered to the Regional Laboratory for analysis.

Continue monitoring and collecting runoff water and necessary.
EPA plans to begin removing chemicals from the site early next week, contingent upon receiving access from CAI and Arnell.
CAI and Arnell have not signed access agreements. OES has contacted the Department of Justice to discuss access options.
