Current Activities
On May 19, 2008, drum samples were collected for hazardous categorization (HazCAT) analysis.

On May 20, 2008, waste drums were overpacked, HazCAT continued, and drum samples were collected for disposal.  Soil sample results were received and all analytes were below Region IX Preliminary Remediation Goals except for arsenic.  Arsenic was below the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s Voluntary Action Program level for commercial/industrial single chemical soil of 80 mg/kg.  All soil analytical results will be given to the Ohio EPA and City of Toledo upon completion of the Removal Action.

On May 21, 2008, ERRS began preparing for demobilization.  Drum samples were picked up by Microbac Laboratory, Inc.’s courier from Merrillville, Indiana.  The building was secured and drums were safely staged awaiting disposal.
