Pollution Report (POLREP) #7
Site Description
Refer to previous polreps.

Current Activities
Work continues during this reporting period on prepping the recovery well system (system) for removal of product, in the vicinity of the seeps.  On 4/14/05 approximately 1000 gallons of a fuel and water mixture was vacuumed from the system into a prestaged frac tank.  Approximately 800 gallons of this mixture was diverted into a tanker truck for off-site recycling.  Additional removal of fuel from the system, will continue thru the weeks of 4/18 and 4/25.

On 4/11 and 4/12/05 USACE's contractor completed the installation of a monitoring well in the vicinity of Fogle's old above ground storage tank farm.  This farm was located just upgradient (approx 50ft.) of the well MWA01.  A fuel sample from this well will be forwarded to USCG Coil Lab for fingerprinting purposes.

On April 08, 2005, the FOSC issued a Notice of Federal Interest in a Pollution Incident to Fogle's.

Planned Removal Actions
Continued removal of diesel fuel from the system in the vicinity of the seeps.

Next Steps
Development of a Removal Action Plan with Fogle's contractor for remediation of his facility.  Plan to include a review of site history documentation and determination of location of any USTs and also removal plan for the source area itself.

SPCC inspection of Fogle's above ground storage farm will occur during the week of 4/25/2005.
