EPA R9 ER responded to a request from CA District Atty's Office to investigate an abandoned explosive storage facility located on an agricultural property located in an unincorporated portion of Hollister, CA in San Benito County. The owner of the explosive material was a previous tenant of the property owner but the lease had lapsed several years ago and abandoned the explosive material. The owner contacted several agencies for assistance in removing the material with no success.
