Early morning on December 14, 2016, a P&H Transportation Tanker Truck rolled over and released all of it's cargo including approximately 3000 gallons of diesel and 6000 gallons of gasoline into a drainage ditch. Local fire fighters and hazmat teams responded and built two earthen berms to capture the oil before it reached a small stream located approximately 700 feet down gradient. No evacuations were conducted and the spill received some media interest. EPA responded and provided assistance to the NH Department of Environmental Service to assess the extent of the spill and the potential threats to nearby residences and businesses.
