The owner of the subject property, along with his sister, had recently inherited the property from their father. The property is occupied by a tenant who reported to the new owners that he had found what looked like a small laboratory in the well pump house for the property. They then called the local fire department to investigate. Several containers of hazardous chemicals such as acids, mercury, pesticides, etc. were found in the former property owner's shed. The county and local fire dept. requested assistance from EPA for handling and disposal of the abandoned chemicals.
