A freight train left the tracks March 7, 2017 near the Newburgh-New Windsor border.

The 77-car train, including three locomotives, was carrying hazardous materials including sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide and aqueous bisulfate. A CSX spokesman said none of the hazardous materials leaked.

A locomotive leaked approximately 2200 gallons of diesel fuel.

The train derailed when it hit a manlift being operated by an employee of Steelways, who was crossing the tracks.
