The Oceania Regional Response Team (ORRT) is responsible for regional planning and preparedness activities before response actions, and for providing advice and support to Federal On Scene Coordinators or Remedial Project Managers when activated, usually during an incident or response.
Oceania RRT membership consists of designated representatives from each federal agency participating in the National Response Team (NRT) together with state, territory, commonwealth or local government agencies - providing them with the opportunity to participate in response and preparedness activities related to pollution incidents.
The ORRT is led by US EPA Region 9 and USCG District 14, and its Area of Responsibility (AOR) includes Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI) and other Pacific Island territories and nations as requested.

Please note that the Jurisdictional Boundaries for Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam and CNMI are mean-high-tide, which is represented as the shoreline on a NOAA marine navigational chart.
