On 9/22/17 at approximately 12:40 central time, U.S EPA received an initial request from Ohio EPA to investigate vapor intrusion at two residences in Fremont, OH. Five properties were sampled, and two residential properties have high levels of Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and Trichloroethylene (TCE) inside the homes, exceeding residential action levels for subslab and indoor air. One of the two homes is occupied by a woman of child-bearing age and five children. The other three properties that were sampled are commercial, and did not exceed residential action levels for indoor air.
