The Site is an historic mine waste dump that was acquired by an investment / development corporation in 2015. In 2016, the corporation entered into a settlement agreement with USEPA to excavate and remove contaminated soil. The settlement agreement adopted soil target cleanup levels of 500 parts per million (ppm) lead and 100 ppm arsenic that were previously established in the area by USEPA's Remedial Program.
