ODEQ contacted EPA Duty Officer reporting that they were enroute to an oil spill on Burlingame Creek, a tributary of Bever Creek, a tributary of Sandy Hook River, a tributary of the Columbia River. ODEQ agreed to mobilize State response contractors to the scene under a Pollution Removal Funding Authorization (PRFA) issued by EPA Duty Officer. ODEQ reported that the source of the spill is unknown and that the oil is flowing through the Gresham Golf Course. It was reported that several Mallard ducks were found dead in the oiled creek.

Spill estimate increased to 300 gallons based upon volume of oil recovered.
