On November 26, 2021, the weight of recently delivered arrogate caused a slope failure of the south seawall (the newly rebuilt dock along the river appears to be unaffected). The collapse caused soil on the adjacent Detroit Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) property to collapse into ACE’s boat slip. The failure caused sediments in the boat slip release an oily sheen to the Detroit River.
