NRC#: 758343

NRC report states a freight train has derailed approximately 21 cars due to unknown causes. A Union Pacific representative has indicated that titanium dioxide (a white paint pigment) and lime potentially released into a nearby creek at the derailment location. Initial location reported as Gilmer, Texas but incident actually occured in Pritchett, Texas. OSC Enders and EPA Region 6 START contractors are in route.
