August 23, at approximately 2200 hours the Wayne County EMA requested U.S. EPA assistance at a fire that occurred at a paint facility owned by the Crown Group (CG) in Ecorse, Michigan. U.S. EPA perimeter monitoring for VOC and cyanide were non-detect. The fire has been extinguished and CG has hired Clean Harbors to cleanup the facility.
