Approximately at 9:56 local time, Tyson Foods in Houston, Texas reported to the NRC (#833879) that their facility located at 300 Portwall Street had developed an ammonia leak within the facility. Tyson's facility evacuated 150 employess.

OSC Chris Ruhl and Houston - START team have been activated to coordinate with local Houston HazMat, TCEQ and representatives from Tyson. START will conduct air monitoring within the community.
