An EPA OSC and START contractors were dispatched to an oil spill in Oilton, Oklahoma. The RP estimates that 20 barrels of crude oil overflowed from a 400 barrel salt water tank on July 8, 2007. Crude oil entered Oilton creek which flows about 1/2 mile to Cimarron River. The Oklahoma Corporation Commission requested EPA assistance after determining that response efforts by the RP were slow.
