OSC Solecki is enroute to Buffalo to respond to an illegal dumping of 22, 5-gallon pails of flammable liquids. Some of these containers were leaking.

The materials were discovered on July 30, 2010, by the Erie County Health Department on their property at 608 William Street.

OSC Solecki will meet the ERRS contractor on site late this afternoon and initiate an emergency removal action.

The 22-5 gallon pales abandoned in a the parking lot of a community health center in a low-income residential area. The contents is listed as "paint waste" it contains flammable and combustible liquids and some considered as pollutants. They were all organized and packed on 2-1cuyd pallets and shipped for disposal on 10AUG2010 by ERRS.

The site removal has been completed and NYSDEC is investigating the criminal implecations.
