On 12/14/2010 at approximately 0700, a discharge of crude oil was reported from the West Shore Pipeline (12-inch diameter pipe) in Lockport, Illinois. The discharge was discovered in response to an odor complaint by a nearby resident. An estimated 500 barrels (21,000 gallons) of crude oil was released into a drainage ditch which flows to a wetland area.
