An oil and salt water spill occured on a lease owned by Layline Petroleum LLC. near Breckenridge (Stephens County) Texas. Reports ranging from 55-200 BBLS. of crude oil and 1000 BBLS. of salt water were reported to have discharged from a 3 inch flowline into Long Branch Creek. Approximatley 0.5 mile of Long Branch Creek has been impacted.

Layline personnel and Oil Spill Response Contractors are onsite and have begun cleanup operations. OSC Brescia and START Contractors have been deployed to assess and oversee cleanup operations at the site.
