EPA OSC Brescia and EPA START responded to a report from an EPA Enforcement Officer about an oil/saltwater spill in Drumright Oklahoma. The oil spill was estimated to be 150 bbls of oil and 500 bbls of salt water which occurred from a failure at a tank battery. The oil and salt water migrated into an adjacent unnamed creek. The unnamed creek is an active creek and connects to Tiger Creek, which connects to the Cimmarron River. The incident location is east of Drumright, Oklahoma, intersecting with HWY 33. The Responsible Party (RP) is Petco Petroleum Company. Petco is currently conducting cleanup operations.
